•    Apply mayonnaise on the hair to kill lice quickly, easily, cheaply and safely. For this, you need to grab a handful of mayonnaise and apply it on the hair. Be sure to apply it behind the ears and down the neck. These are the common residing locations of lice in the hair. To prevent the mayonnaise from dripping, you can cover the hair with a plastic shower cap. Leave it for two hours to smother the lice and the developed eggs. Then remove the shower cap and throw it away. Shampoo the hair thoroughly for two to three times to clean the hair.
•    Vaseline is a good alternative for mayonnaise. To remove Vaseline from hair, apply a good amount of hair oil, rub it thoroughly and squeeze out as much as possible. Then wash the hair for around three times with shampoo and hot water.
•    Shampoo the hair and then rinse the hair and scalp with vinegar. This will loosen the glue that holds the nits or eggs tightly to the scalp. Then rinse the hair with hot water.
•    Natural Lice Spray: To prepare homemade lice spray, take three tablespoons of pure olive oil  or coconut oil . Add one teaspoonful of tea tree essential oil , one teaspoonful of rosemary oil , one teaspoonful of peppermint oil , one teaspoonful of lavender oil  and one teaspoonful of eucalyptus essential oil . If this mixture is too thick for your sprayer, you can thin it down a little by adding a few drops of water. Spray this mixture in the hair thoroughly. Leave it for 2-3 hours in your hair. Then wash your hair thoroughly with shampoo for at least two times.
•    Mix a glass of lemon juice with one teaspoonful of ginger. Apply the mixture on dry hair and rub them thoroughly. Wait for about 8 hours. Then wash and comb the hair.
