Pregnancy is the stage when your body undergoes many changes. The changes are not just physical but also emotional. During this phase it is very difficult to deal with the changes as your hormones play havoc with your life.

Though good food and rest help a lot for safe term, several ailments such as stretch marks, weight related problems, nausea and morning sickness, fatigue and binge eating, will be lying in wait to attack you.
However, thanks to the nature that has provided us with herbs, which surely help get rid of any uneasiness experienced by you and result in a healthier pain free term. Plus, there are herbs that also help lessen the labour pains and post-delivery stress as well.
One such herb is raspberry leaf, which is commonly used in the form of tonics to perk up your health during pregnancy. It is claimed to be highly helpful in eliminating nausea, puts off miscarriages and reduces the labor pain. It comes rich with Vitamin A and E.
Besides, there is another herb called Nettle leaf, which boasts of having each and every mineral and vitamin known to mankind. Though used in pills and tonics, but you can also make use of nettle leaf in your food preparations. It is capable of stimulating escalation of cells in the child, gets rid of leg cramps, and boosts the delivery of breast milk. It also has the capacity of stabilizing the woman’s hormonal levels thus reducing the risks of post- partum depression
Apart from all the above mentioned herbs, there are some that could be very dangerous if taken at the time of pregnancy. For example neem, which in normal circumstances is very beneficial; but if consumed during pregnancy it could be extremely dangerous as it generates heat in the body and leads to miscarriage. Plus, avoid consuming or using herbs like ginger roots, parsley, lemon grass, aloe and basil.
