Many a personal factors are responsible to cause sleeplessness or distorted sleep. Doesn’t matter what the cause is, but it is must to have a few hours of uninterrupted sleep at night if you want to make sure high levels of energy, good health and good productivity during the whole day long.

For distorted sleep, doctors too don’t suggest any medication, so it is better if you let it come naturally. In such a case, Aromatherapy proves to be highly help-ful.

You can use essential oils in many ways to make induce sleep. If you add them to your bath water or prepare your tea with them, they help induce sleep. Some aromatic oils are also linked with reducing stress levels and relaxing muscles thus reducing sleeplessness and inducing sleep.

We experience various aromas through our senses every day. All of these aromas prove to be highly helpful or beneficial for the improvement of some part of our health without letting us know. But if you use the same aromas with some knowledge, they can be very helpful for the improvement of certain definite conditions.

Almond oil massages are very beneficial for the improvement of our sleep patterns. If you use Almond oil to massage on your forehead and temples or if the oil is poured onto the head, it proves to be highly helpful in increasing the quality of your sleep.

Oils like chamomile, lavender, rose and vanilla also have the relaxing quality. You can also add these oils to a warm bath or burn as incense and candles sticks. Massage with the oils mentioned above on the part of your body that make you feel tensed in.

If you keep tuning and tossing due to stress, then get out instantly from there. Boil a cup of milk and put some drops of almond oil into it. Put in honey to make the milk sweet and drink it warm. You will notice a soothing effect on your nerves. Besides, it helps reduces the muscle tension. Your body will be relaxed and sleep will be induced.
