Safety and Risks of Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the treatment for pain through piercing of needles in the body, in simple terms. These days people undergo body piercing and tattooing just for the fun and style part of it. But when it comes to the treatment of a disease through needle therapy it can get a bit scary. Around 60 per cent of the people live in perpetual fear of getting the body pricked by needles for the Acupuncture therapy. When done by a trained practitioner, there is no cause to worry. The needles should be sterile in all cases and autoclaved even if reused.
