How safe are Ayurvedic formulations?

Ayurvedic medication cannot be considered immune to the general side effects or minor allergic reactions that might be encountered at the time or after their intake. Reportedly few Ayurvedic medications are believed to be containing traces of metallic components. This calls for a precautionary measure to consult your doctor before taking any herbs or Ayurvedic supplements. Special care is to be taken if alternative therapy of Ayurveda is being combined with some conventional medical treatment.

The most plausible and credible aspect specific to Ayurveda is that it considers the constitution of every patient different from other. This, indeed, is the most appealing facet of Ayurveda practices. Although it is really tough to establish scientific validation of Ayurveda, there have been few studies conducted to test the effectiveness of Ayurvedic treatment. There might not be statistically significant validations of the effectiveness of its products and practices, yet it has been achieved to get the desired effect.
