‘Welcome arrival of the new born’
This sanskar is done post child birth. When a child is born his physical and spiritual welcome is made and revival from the hard time the soul has passed through in the womb for 9 months. It includes purification of home by herbs (disinfectants) bath of Baby (Royal Bath) panchamrit snan, scission of naval cord, feeding of milk. The purification of home by herbs and refreshing aromas keeps the atmosphere fresh and enlightened for the new born.

The panchamrit snan on a particular day (kaal) or mahurat enhances the energies and get off the strain of exhaustive labour. The pichu dharna technique enables the child to spiritually revive into this birth and forget the strains faced by the soul in the previous birth and delivery.
