 Vaginal dryness has many causes. It could bring about lots of issues. It makes sexual intercourse too painful to bear and leads to infection. Naturally, the vagina of a woman has to be moist or if it isn’t so, it has its own natural mechanism that keeps it that way.

However, at some point of time, you have to use some kind of a lubricant to get rid of the dryness. For one time use lubricant is okay, but if it keeps happening, you need to visit your doctor as it may be serious and needs immediate medical attention.

 

Vaginal dryness may be caused by dehydration, if so, drink lots of water or other fluids such as tender coconut water. This is the simplest solution to help your condition. Plus, if you are addicted to consuming lots of alcohol and coffee, stop it as it causes dehydration.

 

Vaginal dryness is also caused by lack of estrogen in post menopausal women. Consume the foods that are a natural source of estrogen. Eat boiled soy bean, but don’t overdo this.

 

Almond oil is also an excellent source of estrogen; add up to 12 almonds to your daily diet as they are vitamin E rich. You can also rub the almond oil against the vaginal walls to supply external lubrication.

 

Plus, you can also use other herbal oils as external lubrication. Some vaginal lubricating creams can also be used to see if they really help.

 

Natural oils rich foods like flax or walnuts seeds are also a good option. You can treat any kind of within ailment by just changing your food habits.

 

Many poses and asanas in yoga are also very helpful in getting rid of this situation. Even if you don’t see any improvement in the condition within a few days, do visit your doctor for medical advice.
