Acidity and heartburn is caused by excessive acid in the stomach. This unnecessary acid gives rise to exasperation of the gastrointestinal casing, which results into a blazing pain. When this unnecessary acid moves back into the throat this causes inflammation and the reaction of heartburn is created.

Causes of Acidity and Heartburn

Below are the conditions that could produce excessive acid in stomach resulting acidity and heartburn.

1.Overweight people could undergo due to redundant force on their digestive tract.
2.Pregnant women may bear due to the uterus force on the digestive area while the baby grows
3.Intake spicy and rich foods
4.Eating speedily while beneath stress
5.Inapt or unsound sleep
6.Consumption of Alcohol
7.Eating speedily
8.Avoidance of Acidity & Heartburn

Many people suffer with more acidity and heartburn than others as they aren’t able to digest some foods.

Bananas are very beneficial to get rid of the acidity and heart burn. Eating a banana daily help prevent such conditions

Get 2 teaspoon raw honey and a mix of 2 teaspoon of normal apple cider vinegar in a glass of water before meals. This is one of the best home remedy for acidity.
 
1.Avoid pickles, fried foods, vinegar, hot spicy foods,  and chocolate
2.Avoid raw salad of vegetables such as cabbage, radish, onion and peppers
3.Stay away from unripe high pectin fruits, like unripe apple. But ripened apple like fuji apple or delicius apple could help out
4.Grind up the food correctly. Don’t have it hurriedly
5.Don’t skip meals, and also don’t give gap in between meals. This gives rise to gas / current of air.
6.Drink as much water as you can, no less than 8 glasses daily
7.Don’t eat just going to bed early
8.Stop alcohol and stop smoking

Home Remedy for Acidity

1.Chew up a few basil (tulsi ) leaves to get rid of nausea, blazing and gas
2.Put a little part of jaggery (gur) in between jaws and keep sucking it slowly. Go on with it unless acidity subsides.
3.Eat banana, cucumber or watermelon each hour.
4.When feel heartburn symptoms, eat some almonds.
5.Drink coconut water four five times a day.
6.Gulp a glass of cold milk for fast relief of acidity and heartburn
7.Get 1 piece of clove and keep sucking it slowly
8.Take fresh mint juice after meals slowly.
9.Drink daily 1 teaspoon juice of chebulic myrobalan with 1 teaspoon of amla (Indian gooseberry) juice.
10.Keep standing for some time after food
11.Have a sleep with your shoulder and head on a elevated pillow for height
