Acupuncture is one of the oldest therapies used across the world. It is believed all over the world that acupuncture therapy helps to cure most of the diseases. However, according to the fertility experts acupuncture therapy has no relation with the process of conception or conception itself. Women who are using acupuncture remedies to conceive are only wasting their money and time, experts reported.

Today ancient therapies like homeopathy and ayurveda, acupuncture is also becoming popular among people. A vast number of people are turning to acupuncture for the relief. And hence, a growing number of women are paying huge amounts for the ancient treatments in hope to get pregnant.

However, the British Fertility Society has advised people that there is no evidence which will support the use of Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicines to help women to achieve their dream of motherhood.

The BFS journal Human Fertility reported that the experts have come to this conclusion only after thorough analysis of 14 case studies involving around 2,670 women.

While on the other hand, British Acupuncture Council member Zita West said that many women are satisfied with the results of acupuncture therapies and are convinced that acupuncture made a difference.
