It’s really inspiring how Dr Shardali Kulkarni went for a seven years research into traditional medicine of Africa. She has recently received the prestigious international award for her research in Ayurveda. It is truly commendable how she devoted seven years for this research. Prof. PH Kulkarni presented Shardal Kulkarni with the Award on behalf of the International Ayurveda Association at the inauguration ceremony of the The South African Ayurvedic Association (TAFSA) on Friday.

The book would be published in a couple of months. Kulkarni said she tried to bridge the gap between the culture and tradition of Asia and Africa. She got an opportunity to present the culture and tradition of her own country into international limelight as well as to live in a country like Africa which is rich in traditions. She also said it was her duty to look into these traditions and cultures with a deeper understanding and consciousness.
Shardali Kulkarni speaks with an inner insight voice when she says she wanted to learn all the secrets of the traditional medicine of Africa in the perspective of the Ayruveda.
