Beware! Fatherhood is in danger. Specialist at Loyola University Health System (LUHS) has warned that if you make excessive use of a laptop computer, it could intimidate your sperm production.

The heat generated from laptops can impact sperm development and production making it hard to conceive down the road. So, don’t spend too much time with laptop, as it could be an unlikely cause of male fertility.

But this does not mean that you give up your laptops hoping to be a potential father, you just have to use a little common sense.

Below are some common measures that helps protect male fertility:

1.Keep a safe distance from the heat-generating laptops.
2.Keep cell phones away from reproductive organs
3.Keep away from hot tubs.
4.Have on boxer shorts rather than tight briefs.
5.Stay away from exercise that generates trauma or heat to the genital area.
6.Consume a nutritious diet.
7.Make a habit of consuming daily multivitamin.
8.Get 8hrs of sleep each night.
9.Be hydrated and limit caffeine to just 2 cups each day.
10.Never smoke.
11.Shun too much alcohol and drugs.
12.Lessen exposure to toxins.
13.Perform stress reducing methods like yoga.
