Odanadi, an NGO located in Mysore performed a new concept called Yoga Stops Trafficking (YST) basically to create awareness about human trafficking among people. Human trafficking has become an international problem which is mainly responsible for spreading AIDS.

In the campaign called ‘Yoga Stops Trafficking’, mass yoga was performed for about one hour near Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple near Mysore Palace. Around 200 people including mostly foreigners and rehabilitated people had participated in the mass yoga. The participants performed yoga with excellent dedication and discipline. Most of them were professionals in the various fields from countries like UK, US, Australia, Nigeria and many others.

Christina from US thinks that yoga has the power to link people across the world and Katie who is an environmental engineer from US observed that yoga helps to maintain peace of mind and also shapes the body too.

The participants performed yoga wearing white t-shirts and black trousers. They even took the oath to love every human being with the sense of understanding. The organisers of the campaign conveyed that now 30 countries across the world will follow this novel concept and therefore similar mass yoga would be performed on 13 of March in these 30 countries.

Odanadi is an initiating anti-trafficking organization. It has rehabilitated over 1,850 children since its foundation.
